Hemingway once said:
All you have to do is write one true sentence. Write the truest sentence that you know.
Each new day, just as the sun reaches the tops of the forest trees as it rises, a haze of confusion battles against the fear of being a disappointment, and they grapple until a winner is declared.
Then the next morning they start again.
Some days, the fear of disappointing someone is the most powerful motivating emotion, and that brings clarity to the “What am I going to do today” question.
I am going to get out of bed, and not disappoint the people I love.
